Bio
梁麗君 Barbie Leung is a queer-identifying, New York based cinematographer. Narrative features include thriller Hidden Exposure (Dir. Todd Bogin), Kids Like Me (Dir. Cynthia Lowen and Jon Cohrs) world premiering at Tribeca Festival 2026, and a forthcoming immersive feature for Cosm Entertainment.
In 2024 Leung was named a Sundance ReFrame Rise Fellow. She is mentored by renown cinematographers Adrian Peng Correia, and Armando Salas, ASC as part of American Society of Cinematographer’s prestigious Vision Mentorship program.
Leung has also lensed documentary features Battleground (Dir. Cynthia Lowen) that world premiered at Tribeca Festival 2022, and Glitch: The Rise and Fall of HQ Trivia for HBO Max.
Her work has also screened at Sundance, Raindance, SXSW, and Outfest.
