Bio
梁麗君 Barbie Leung is a queer-identifying, New York based cinematographer. Narrative features include thriller Hidden Exposure (Dir. Todd Bogin), Kids Like Me (Dir. Cynthia Lowen and Jon Cohrs) world premiered at Tribeca Festival 2026, and a forthcoming immersive feature for Cosm Entertainment.
Leung was named a 2026 Emerging Cinematographer by the International Cinematographers Guild, shortly after concluding two years as a Sundance ReFrame Rise Fellow 2024. She has been mentored by renown cinematographers Adrian Peng Correia, and Armando Salas, ASC as part of American Society of Cinematographer’s prestigious ASC Vision Mentorship program.
Leung has lensed several documentary features, including Battleground (Dir. Cynthia Lowen) that world premiered at Tribeca Festival, and Glitch: The Rise and Fall of HQ Trivia for HBO Max.
Her camerawork has also screened at Sundance, Raindance, SXSW, and Outfest.
